Reviews and Ratings
The hotel serves as a perfect base for skiing, offering a ski-in, ski-out facility right next to the slopes. The rooms are small but comfortable, though my non-smoking room had a lingering cigarette smell which needed addressing. The dining options, while plentiful, can become monotonous if staying for long. On the downside, the hotel is a bit isolated from more dining options and convenience stores outside of what's available on-site.
The Northern Hotel in Niseko is an ideal base for ski enthusiasts, offering easy access to the slopes and an overall comfortable stay. The ski lockers and onsen are highly convenient, but some areas like room timing and the limited dining options could use improvement. Overall, it’s a great setup for a ski vacation, but the location may feel a bit isolated for long stays with major dining options.
The hotel is a solid choice for skiers, located conveniently close to the slopes and ski lifts, which made it easy to hit the slopes directly from the ski room. However, I had some trouble with a smoky room despite booking a non-smoking one, and the dining options were somewhat limited. Overall, the facilities provided great amenities like an Onsen, but the value for money left me wanting a bit more.
The Northern hotel is a great choice for skiers and boarders with its excellent access to the slopes and convenient amenities. The ski lockers are brilliant, allowing for dry gear overnight, and the on-site rental shop is a huge plus. However, the dining options can become monotonous after a while and the bar hours could use some improvement. The rooms are small but comfortable, providing good sleep quality.
The hotel is well-situated for skiers, with direct access to the slopes from the ski room, which is a huge plus. The facilities are adequate, but the overall feel of the hotel is a bit dated, and not worth the price I paid. The dining options are fine, but could become repetitive on a longer stay. Accessibility to nearby restaurants and convenience stores is a downside, encouraging me to rely on the hotel for meals.
